Douglas Costa can, too. I've seen similar from Thiago and Götze, as well.

Honestly, it's not that special a situation. Good reactions from him, but the gaps between the defending team are bad, and the last guys are standing entirely still - it's not hard to walk by them. No doubt he's especially gifted, but that situation isn't doing much to prove as big of a claim as "second to none but Messi".

How many Ben Arfas are there? It seems like when one of them ends up being a bust, another one pops up in some small French team and the whole cycle repeats itself.

So I'll reiterate, no other player outside Messi can beat 6 defensemen in 4 seconds with that kind of speed and skill. He has done it a few times this year too (3, 4?), but that's beside the point anyway.

Halilovic can. And he's a 19-year old up and coming potential star, and not a bust like Ben Arfa.

Seems like his career is dead. No idea what he does in Real Valladolid.

People who say he was poor in PL have no idea what they are talking about. Problem with injuries yes, but simple amazing everytime he did play.

He wasn't amazing every time he played. But he gave plenty outstanding performances, particularly in the second half of 2011/12.

He's manifestly not an easy player to work with, but it's a crying shame he was condemned to spend three and a half years under the Pardew / Ashley regime.
