I'm starting to get excited about this guy, especially as a puck mover behind Chabot. Just need a good RD besides JBD to complete our top 4 of the future.

Jaros. He could possibly be the Methot to Chabot. A top 4 of:
Chabot - Jaros
Wolanin - JBD

is pretty solid IMO.

I don't think his skating is currently good enough to be a real top 4 guy. That's something that's gonna have to improve a lot if he's gonna play big minutes.

I don't see it. He's no burner, but he's adequate. Is he a worst skater than Methot when he was playing with Karl? I don't think so. In a vacuum Jaros is not a top pairing D, but he could be a pretty good foil to Chabot, exactly like Methot was to Karl.

Interesting. I thought wolanin had really solid speed and loved to go coast to coast. But I'll admit to not knowing one way or the other.

Edit: if that was about jaros, I dont agree personally. I find him quite mobile
