Broncos gave up a 4th round pick for an upgrade at QB

Hardly a bad deal

With pieces they have on D and an upgrade at QB the Broncos could very easily be a WC team next year

Flacco is ass. He can’t move, has had injury issues, is 34. He better hope they have an elite pass protection, and even then he’ll probably suck.

speaking of cuts? when are they officially announced? Kevin White, Deion Sims and Parkey will most likely all be gone unless Pace can con a team to take on Parkey's deal for a 7th round pick, lol

Literally 0% chance.

Kevin White is a free agent. They'll probably start making cuts once the new league year starts (March 13th).

There's no reason to cut Parkey now. His money is guaranteed. We might as well force him to camp.

Cant trade Parkey to himself so no luck there

Parkey and his agent probably still laugh about the deal our GM gave him

You can't take anyone who thinks Cutler>Mitch seriously.

It's going to be real interesting when Mitch's rookie contract runs out (2020), right around the corner. Starting QB's in the NFL are signing 100 million dollar deals. On a side note, the top 6 highest paid NFL QB's last year all failed to make the playoffs.

Tom Brady has been taking pay cuts so that the Patriots have money to spend on the roster...will Mitch and his agent do same?

Dak Prescott (one of the leading dink and dunk passers in the NFL) recently said in an interview he was not interested in signing for anything less than market value.

Rookie first round deals are 5 year deals. Next year he'll be on year 3.

There's always a team option for the 5th year, I believe.

Yes ... for all first round picks, there is a 5th year team option. The Bears have to pick it up in the summer before the player's 4th season.

Because Trubisky was picked second overall, that team option for the 5th year will cost about $23mn.

You really don't know how the NFL works if you think the Bears will be letting Mitch go unless he completely stagnates these next 3 years. Even then, he's still a serviceable starter as he is now, so it would be hard to let him go regardless. You don't just let young QBs who can play walk.

Wait is that what he seriously said?

I don’t even bother reading his posts anymore. So much

Apparently Mitch is a "dink and dunk" guy who Pace needs to let walk at the end of his 4 year deal (either ignoring the 5th year option or saying Pace should just decline the option).

This guy should be the Browns GM.
