I don't think the NFL wants him out. Fans like to watch that kind of stuff. The NFL does has to act like they don't approve of it for legal purposes. We just saw Ryan Shazier paralyze himself on a NFL hit last year (was it against the Bengals?) ... and NFL ratings are up this year. Fans don't care.
