Mitch is a totally different QB when he uses his legs. He hasn't played like that all season

Definitely, he is more of a threat and it limits the need for him to make all perfect throws. It should also force the D to spy on him at some point limiting coverage. He still had a few horrendous pass attempts but they didn't hurt us. The TD run was really impressive.

He does this the next few weeks and the Bears have a tough decision with his option, I think you have to pick it up.

Game plan and scheme were notably different last night. They played to his strengths which I've wanted for ages

Why did it take so long?

Seems like Nagy wanted to make him a pocket passer... when he shouldn't be. He needs to be like Lamar. Run for 50+ every game, and throw for a couple hundred and a couple TDs. Keep it simple, let the guy make things happen with his legs, and it seems to build confidence for him for his throws.

He doesn't even need to be Lamar. He should be doing what Josh Allen is doing on the ground right now.

It’s great they are finally letting Mitch run and he is much better because of it. Nagy seems so stubborn. He’ll probably be back next year. I just hope he doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel again on offense. This team could easily have 1-2 more wins if it wasn’t for Nagy.

He at least has to be a threat to run on those RPO's where he hands it to Montgomery who gets immediately clobbered every time

Dallas' defense is solid. Gives up the same amount of PPG as the Charges, Saints, and Vikings

Cowboys have a top 10 D in the league...

Yeah, pretty sure it's top 10 in the league.

I've been quite critical of Mitch this year too, but the Cowboys defense is worth a damn?

Why are you dismissing a top-10 defense by lumping it in with the Lions game?

Cowboys D has not been playing good for a couple months now

Struggled vs the likes of Jets , Lions and now Bears

If you look at post September the Cowboys D has fallen off

Because it fits his narrative better. Can't just enjoy the win. Has to trash something.

Statement of facts is not trashing

The reality is our QB is still among the worst in NFL and should not be brought back to be #1 next year nor have his 5th year option picked up

Sadly the Bears will bring him back and exercise that option

A couple of good games vs trash should not be praised. It was Mitch and our coach who tanked the season

That's not a statement of facts. It was you being disingenuous about the Cowboys D, simply to fit your narrative.

You said look at the Cowboys D post September?

They gave up 12 to the Saints September 29th. Then 34 to the Packers, 24 to the Jets, 10 to the Eagles, 18 to the Giants, 28 to the Vikings, 27 to the Lions, 13 to the Pats, and then 26 to the Bills. It hasn't been some disaster that you're making it out to be, and not only that, but you're making this assertion without having watched any of those games, either. One team has put up over 30 on them this entire season. And they've played some good offensive teams...

But by all means, keep being you.

Dallas has been in a funk but it doesn't change the fact Mitch is a different QB when he runs more. We have been saying on this board all year he needs to use his legs more, it just took Nagy most of the season to figure it out.

What was huge, keeping Dak off the field and our D rested. That drive to start off the 2nd half killed Dallas. They could not get in a groove against a depleted Bears D.

Mitch plays well for a few weeks in a row and BWC still ****s on him.

You know you can just not say anything right?

You look pathetic and desperate when you **** on a guy who has played great lately.

You mean the same guy who helped cost us playoffs

Is garbage time production something you celebrate? Because at this point the run by Mitch is essentially garbage time production in a lost season that he and Nagy are responsible for
