I think I prefer Pittsburgh.Edmonton lacks physicality in the forwards except 3rd line, whereas Pittsburgh is more well rounded.Otherwise both teams are very strong.

Edmonton would be pure entertainment though! What a wild team. Tarasov has a lot of specific skillsets to mold into a dynamic puck moving team. I wanted Cyclone Taylor too but Selke Yzerman was more needed.

True, it would be amazing to watch.

fun, but why didn't you do it snake style? from what I can tell, Edmonton picked 1st and 5th. That's a huge advantage.

We talked about that but we decided to keep it simple. It wasn't a competitive draft so we figured 2,2,2,2... would be easier to execute.

Snake structure #1

BB1
VI2
BB3
VI4
VI4
BB3
VI2
BB1
BB1
VI2
...

This is a pain to execute in a marathon. We switch too many times.Do I pick one? Do I pick two? Which team do I pick for again? In the heat of the action and after an hour of drafting, and without any draft list in the OP to check your stuff it becomes confusing.

Snake structure #2

BB1
BB2
VI3
VI4
VI4
VI3
BB2
BB1
BB1
BB2
...

This would be easy to execute but 4 picks every turn seemed too much. This would be the best structure to use if we were competing seriously.

So we went:

BB1
BB2
VI3
VI4
BB1
BB2
VI3
VI4
...

Which is obviously unfair to VI in this context but more pleasant.
