Not good for The locker room to have an unhappy player when the team is rebuilding with regards to the contract. If you are not committing to the guy after 5 seasons, let
Him move on. They secured a 2nd and 5th and with their cap room they were going to negate any compensatory pick they would have gotten for him in the 2024 draft when they spend in free agency.
