Yeah that was horrible. It was right after that Quinn got out and signed Roberts and Corson. I remember watching the final 4 that year between Philly/Jersey and Dallas/Colorado and it was clear to me that Toronto just couldn't compete at the level physically to beat these teams.

Yeah, I didn't understand why they let Steve Thomas talk though, I always thought he was a good fit on those teams. Don't remember if he walked after 2000 or 2001.
