Backlund vs Kadri

Havent seen this one brought up as much, but both are above average 2nd line centres; backlund has selke level defense, while kadri has first line offense capability and a good defensive game too. Both have flaws that prevent them from being bonafide #1's, but overall are still excellent players. Once again a close vote, but I'm homer voting backlund as he really does a good job at his responsibilies (his line totally shut down the Mackinnon and Bergeron lines this season), though I could definitely see an argument for kadri too.

I mean... I wouldn't say he shut down the Bergeron line at all, they scored twice and had one goal taken away on an offside review, Mike Smith stoned that line (they had 11 shots on net actually lol)

Still prefer Backlund though.

As an Oilers fan id rather have Backlund but both would be a perfect fit on the Oilers. We need a guy like those two behind McDavid and Drai. I feel like if you need a shut down guy Backlund is better but if you want offence you take Kadri because he is a good matchup centre as well. As long as he has a good winger.

Kadri scores a lot of goals and isn't a slouch defensively either.
