Backing up Ward next year??

Ok so assuming Gerber isnt back with the Canes next year and Ward is the starter...who will back him up?? I saw Kawalski was on the roster but dont know anything about him. Whats the scoop with the goaltending situation next year??

The Canes will probably pick up a cheap UFA. There will be plenty of those about. They may even re-sign Gerber to a one or two-year deal, specifying to him that he's the back-up.

Justin Peters will eventually be Ward's back-up, but he's a few years away.

I doubt Gerber Returns.

Like The above Poster said. They will probably sign a cheap Veteran UFA that is capable of pushing Ward, but really isn't there to start.

Justin Peters and Nastiuk are too young to play as his backup next year, its never good to have two young goalies.
