Another embarrassment. Completely outclassed. If they lost with effort, I would accept it. But the total lack of awareness or initiative defensively leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Extremely disappointed, not with the loss, but with the effort and the lack of adjustments. PK has been atrocious since Plekanec came in. He might be the biggest bust in recent Leaf history.

Johnsson was noticeable and deserves to continue playing, as people here have been saying for weeks. Hainsey is out of gas. Goalies couldn't make a save but Rask did.

Must be nice to have a coach who plays his best players on the first PP & PK. Marchand and Bergeron killing us on both ends and we are sending out wingers to take face offs against Bergeron on the PK. SMH

Those 3 absolutely need to be better.
Those 3 are not the reason the team has let in, what is it, 12 goals in 2 games?

And anyone blaming the goalies.....watch the 7th Boston goal. Find me the white shirt within 15 feet of the Boston Bruin with the puck in the zone.

Babcock ought to make the team watch this game on loop for every waking hour over the next day.

Instead of going to the hotel and relaxing.....call all 20 players dressed tonight and force them to watch this. Twice. Tonight.
Anyone who isn't mortified should be sent home immediately.

Sit Matthews, he is playing hurt for sure.

If not he is playing scared, regardless he needs to sit and get healthy, or get some confidence.

Why is everyone blaming babcock, when goaltending and young guns have been trash.

If these guys have guts, they will win next 2 games. Otherwise re-evaluate the core of this team. Winners win, regardless of how young they are. Getzlaf and perry carried their teams to cups as f***in youngsters.

Babcock needs to prep his team better. That’s twice now that the Bruins have striked first when we’re suppose to be a better first period team. If he can’t figure that out we won’t win the series.

Boston clogs up the middle of D zone with all 5 defenders. The only way to beat that is to get the puck in the dirty area and win battles and force them to chase you.

Standing still and being 2nd in the puck battles won’t work.

It doesn't matter who played on what line. If you lack testicular fortitude. Forget about it. Look in the mirror. Hopefully come out in Game 3 like the playoffs mean something to you. The effort is disappointing.

Not Babcock's fault their best players are outclassing our best players.

Pasta has what? 9 points? How many do Matthews, Marner, and Nylander have combined? That's the difference in the series so far.

Up to the players to prove they are legitimate top end players on home ice over the next two games.

Accountability starts at the top, how can we expect Willie and Auston to succeed on the PP when it turns into a 4 on 4 because Lolmarov is on the ice? Why not give them Johnssen or Kap to work with?

Babcock is putting them in a position to fail, but they're definitely failing which is something I concede.

If your talent is intimidated. you're screwed. Right now that's the case with the Leafs. You can have the best shot, be the fastest player but when you're intimidated you retaliate instead of initiate. You're afraid to get hit. You don't wanna touch the puck first. It all begins to add up and it becomes overwhelming. Our talented young guys are overwhelmed and the veteran presence isn't exactly helping.

did anyone ever think that marner or nylander were big, gritty soul and heart type players?

Reality is they are timid little novices who are scared s***less right now.

Awesome players in their own right, but not anywhere near prepared for this type of hockey.

Fail and learn.

Hell will freeze over before Leivo sees the ice. Almost 100% that Moore or Martin come in.

And that's dumb. Leivo is a good hockey player. Believe it or not Babcock is wrong about him just like his Gud Pro BS.

Good coach but that stubbornness. He will actually throw a game or two in the PO to satisfy the ego.
