Well.

Change Chistov with Satan.

Trade Conklin, It's just a personal thing, I don't like him too much, you can get a pretty good clutch goalie for him.

Well, we want to spread out the offense, and we have Leclaire ready to be polished up when we let go of Conklin in 2 years, but it's something to consider.

That first trade is absolutely brutal.

Chistov is pretty far below Satan and Kozlov on the depth chart too IMO.

It also says a lot about your defense when Andrew Ference is on the first pairing. :)

The teams not too bad overall, I haven't seen the competition but I'd imagine you'd be a borderline playoff team, ie. roughly middle of the pack.

Oh, and you've put this on the wrong board. ;)

Well, two things. We needed to improve our defense, drastically, here's our old defense:

Aucoin-Ference
Kuba-Vandermeer
Ehrhoff-Biron

UTTER CRAP. LOL. So we needed a big overhaul, so Klesla is young, has tonnes of upside, so we grabbed him with the first trade we thought of. Semin is good, but that's why we drafted Chistov, a future Bure-type player IMO. We don't want to curb his potentail by putting him on a third line, but Satan may be moved to first line duty, and Chistov put down a notch.

Ference is another interesting thing. He's young, has lots of potential, but we see him as a future Adrian Aucoin, which is why we paired them up. Klesla can move into that spot if need be at any time. But thanks for the comments. :)

Still, I wouldn't trade your 1st round pick for Klesla, let alone the uber-talented Alex Semin as well.

^ Exactly. A 2nd Rounder and maybe a somewhat decent Defencemen for Klesla, not Semin and a 1st. Klesla is talented, but Semin is going to be huge.

Here is what I would do:

Caledonia Crunch

Daniel Sedin-Doug Weight-Milan Hejduk
Vyacheslev Kozlov-Mike York-Miroslav Satan
Stanislav Chistov-Tyler Arnason-Niko Dimitrakos
Jeremy Stevenson-Denis Arkhipov-Pierre Dagenais

Adrian Aucoin-Andrew Ference
Rostislav Klesla-Jim Vandermeer
Christian Ehrhoff-Dan McGillis

Jean-Sebastien Giguere
Ty Conklin

Daniel Sedin would be great with a playmaking Centre like Weight. Chistov would work better with Arnason and Dimitrakos, imo. It also spreads out your scoring more.
