Avs trying to break the curse by getting all the injury risks, also, if Murray manages to stay healthy I wouldn’t be surprised by pairings of:

Toews-Girard

He’s solid if healthy. Don’t have any complaints about this. Definitely improves the blueline depth.

Really nice value for that contract and there could be an opportunity to retain him with how much cap space they have next year.

This defence is loaded and has two players on their bottom pair that can slot into the top-4 when injuries hit.

I don't hate this pickup, but I don't like it either. Horribly injury prone and at this point in this career, not very effective.

They lose Graves and then go out and get a guy who was actually worse than he was last season. I just...I don't get it.
