I hope we blow the Leafs out as well....but come on guys. Lets not get ahead of ourselves here. Our defense looked bad in the first few games and Varly really bailed us out. Don't get cocky, because it will more than likely all come tumbling down soon. This kind of start happened in 2 of Sacco's seasons as well. Don't you remember the "Are the Avalanche for real?" threads. Well in March they became a "What happened?" thread.

Regardless, lets make Phaneuf look like the mistake magnet he is and lets beat the Leafs.

That is just ridiculous. They couldn't fit John Garrett's ears AND Ferraro's ego in one booth.

I know I'm in the minority but I enjoy Ferraro's color commentary. He is a bit arrogant and sarcastic and there is something about his voice that is very annoying but he is one of the best on tv when it comes to breaking down a play. Most others just tell us what they see on the screen while Ferraro usually offer context/insight beyond that.
