My Theory: Since there is no hockey and I have nothing else to do right now - lets hash out this theory
Opening:
Act 1
- Captain Marvel comes to earth (after half the kree population are dead) to confirm if similar things happened on earth.
- She was told by Fury that on earth as long as Stark is here she wouldn't be needed and if something goes bad she has to find Stark. In her journey to find Stark she finds out from one of the avengers that Stark went to Titan to fight Thanos and it is Thanos who is responsible for all of it.
- Captain Marvel uses the "technology" that Fury had hidden in Stark's Iron Man tech (note: remember in Iron Man 2; Widow injects Stark with a serum to heal him); Captain Marvel finds Stark's ship and saves him/nebula.
Meanwhile; doctor strange uses his astral form to gather all the "dusted heroes from the snap"; and then travels to the quantum realm to get Scott Lang out (note: Strange has seen the future and knows that "ONE" scenario where they win and the key to it is---> Scott Lang
Scott Lang gets out and finds Captain America and Widow. They discuss the plan that is set in motion by Doctor Strange.
Meanwhile, Captain Marvel, Stark and Nebula devise a plan to find Thanos to see if things can be reversed.
Act 2
Steve Rogers, Lang, Widow go to Shuri in Wakanda to share Doctor Strange's plan and Lang's new found information of the quantum world. Note: Shuri is top 5 super genius in the Marvel Comics. Shuri meanwhile is running tests on Banner to see whats going on with him and his hulk persona. Thor has gone to help the remaining Azgardians to help build Azgard in Minnesota.
Nebula deduces where Thanos might be and they find him. Nebula and Captain Marvel attack Thanos while Stark steals the gauntlet (now completely destroyed). Thanos eventually refuses to fight anymore as he has already acted on his plans. He destroys the infinity stones - smirks at them and tells them "good luck with the broken gauntlet and no stones"
Stark and company travel to earth; Stark uses all his tech but things just doesn't seem to work out without infinity stone and broken gauntlet.
Strange's astral projection appears and tells Tony and company to travel to Wakanda with the gauntlet. Shuri with her technological knowledge comes to the conclusion that there is a special element that is required to fix the gauntlet. The team think that this element can be found in the government lab (remember: in Civil War Fury was talking to those suits - these suits have more secrets than it has been revealed in the movies thus far). Captain Marvel says that she knows a place where all the "secret" things are hidden.
Stark, Banner, Widow and Captain Marvel go to find the element. There they find that this secret government has defenses built in and only way in is old fashion spy entry; super powers are not going to work as well. widow says she will go as she has training - as she is going there they run into Hawkeye already on a mission taking out soldiers. He says his family was killed and some guy in astral projection said only way to get them back is to steal the element that may be hidden here. (note: Doctor Strange finds out about the location - after captain marvel talks about it).
So they steal the element and then head back to Wakanda. There they repair the Gauntlet. As the Gauntlet is repaired a portal opens up and Doctor Strange comes in with a time stone (remember the fight in Avengers Infinity War on Titian; where Strange hides the time stone when the fight is going on) says they have exactly "X-mins" to use the time stone - go back in time; fix the "events"; get the knowledge of the soul stone from the movie Age of Ultron steal the soul stone and get back to the present.
With soul stone and the knowledge from quantum realm (from Lang); they can bring back the fallen heroes as soul stone will return their souls and quantum realm can return "Matter" to those souls. Doctor Strange's astral projection has managed to keep the souls of fallen heroes from passing on to other dimension. Heroes argue about how they can go back in time to defeat Thanos etc... doctor strange says DO NOT DO ANYTHING ELSE. Looks at Tony and says "We are in the End-Game Now" Stark understands what Strange is saying (as he remembers there is only one way to defeat Thanos out of 14 million options).
They go back in time, grab the soul stone and come back to the future - make a copy of the stone - and then return the soul stone back in the past for the events to playout exactly as they did.
They bring back Doctor Strange, Black Panther (Shuri's request) but bringing the heroes back takes time. Doctor Strange says that while they are bringing back heroes it is time they also prep for Thanos who must know now what happened and he will return for the Gauntlet.
Note: Stark feeling very guilty about Peter's death; brings back Spiderman while other's were planning to prep for the fight against Thanos.
We are shown that Thanos never destroyed the infinity stones; he used the the "reality" stone to make it appear that he has destroyed all the stones to captian marvel, nebula and stark. The soul stone glows and Thanos knows exactly whats going on. He prepares to fight again and gathers all his troops for another attack at Wakanda.
He thinks that he should have completely killed everyone on earth especially the avengers that survived. This time he won't make the same mistake.
Final Act
Thor while rebuilding asgard on earth sees the portal open again in the sky; sees the surviving asguardians shudder in fear; Thor says this time no asgardian will be harmed and Thanos will die by his hand. He goes on to battle the armies sent to fight in the US. While fighting there he overpowers Thanos' right hand and as he is dying he tells Thor with a smile that this time Thanos will wipe out everyone on the planet and that there is nothing Thor can do about it.
Thanos arrives in Wakanda, he is battling with Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Stark, etc.... with his armies overpowering Wakandan forces (which are now half due to the snap in the previous movie).
Thor arrives in a fit of anger to kill Thanos but here we see Thanos using all the infinity stones (one by one) to outsmart and overpower all the heroes.
EPIC Battle sequences ensue where Thanos is absolutely owning the avengers (old and new including captian marvel). Banner is still struggling to get Hulk out.
- Thanos kills Widow
- Banner loses his shit; anger is out of control and hulk comes out
- Thanos gets his hands on the gauntlet
- Thor/Captain-Marvel/Hulk/Captain America Vs Thanos in a fist fight sequence
- Thanos brings back villians
Thor Vs Hela
Hulk Vs Surtur
Captain Marlvel Vs (big baddie)
etc....
- SUPER EPIC Battle Sequences
- Doctor Strange doesn't get involved - he knows for his plan to work - Thanos must always believe that he has the upper hand
- Thanos finally gets close to the gauntlet but spiderman webs the gauntlet away as Thanos is distracted by both Spiderman and Nebula because he thinks Spidey and Nebula are weak and easily overpowerd; Doctor Strange gets all the stones from him using magic without Thanos finding it out.
- All the avengers getting their assess kicked but eventually we here captain america say "Avengers Assemble" then they use team work to beat their foes (Hela, Sutur etc...)
- Thanos now without Stones or Gauntlet gets crap beat outta him by Hulk, Thor and Captain Marvel. Nebula lands the killing blow; Hulk rips him limb by limb and Thor finally goes for his head (kaboom).
Thanos always had a back-up plan just in-case he had his heart rate bound to the signal that would summon Galactus in the event that Thanos dies.
We see Galactus coming and all the heroes crap their pants; Captain Marvel says there is no way they can beat Galactus;
Doctor Strange lets out a sigh saying he saw the scenario of them beating Thanos but didn't see it further as he didn't find it important - He had no clue of Galactus
In that moment Peter Parker remembers uncle Ben's words "with great power, comes great responsibility" he puts on the gauntlet, webs the stones from Doctor Strange and "Snaps" his fingers.
Thanos is back to being alive and Galactus is not a threat anymore, Thanos is now held captive on Titan, everybody who was dead is back to life. Not a lot of them remember the event - except - Spidey, Doctor Strange, Stark and Captain Marvel.
Stark says he is retiring because he could not go through the pain of losing peppers again.
Steve Rogers is sent back in time to live out his life
At the end; Stark is shown sharing his parting gift (new avengers) to Parker, Strange and Captain Marvel. A new avengers initiative.
Roll Credits
Mid-Credit Scene
Funny moments of Parker discussing who should be in the new avengers and who should be the leader etc....
End Credit Scene
New Baddie the new avengers have to deal with.

1 potential issue is they showed Shuri as one of the "dusted" in the trailer
His theory does not hold water because of a few things including Shuri and ohh ya Dr. Strange was also dusted and I am not sure how he would have an astral for since he is well dead...

Whether Shuri was dusted or not is not known for certain
also interesting part is that when Banner is looking at the Scott Lang (and on the side screen Shuri); you are clearly jumping the ship that Shuri is dead and by that account means Lang is dead too but the end of the trailer is very clear that Lang is alive and well asking rogers to let him in

And as for Doctor Strange being dead there are 2 possible explanations:
1. Comics: In Comics, even if one is dead they can still work in their astral form. In the recent marvel comics doctor strange dies as dormamu has taken over the world; and doctor strange uses magic to infuse hulk's dna such that instead of radiation now hulk feeds on dormamu's magic aand gets stronger.
Strange travels to outer space and dies but his astral form (much younger looking) caries on.
Even ancient one has appeared to dr strange in astral form many times over the years.
2. Suppose you don't follow the Comics and want to stick to the marvel cinematic universe. Then only way dr strange could have seen 14 million possibilities is if did not die/or get dusted (just casted the spell).
Why?
From doctor strange movie in the end when ancient one is being treated in the hospital doctor strange follows her astral form
she mentions that no matter how much she peered through time, she could never see past what is taking place at that moment, her death. Strange then backs this up by asking that exact question “you think this is where you die?
i.e. one cannot view the future past their deaths.
so only two possible explanations here
1. either they are gonna retacon it saying that is not true and dr strange is going to use his astral form
or
2. doctor strange is not really dead but only made it to appear so.
Note: doctor strange mentioned "we are in the endgame now"
movie is titled Avengers: Endgame. Doctor Strange is going to be the most important in this movie IMO as it is his plan (1 out of 14 million possibilities) that has to play out to beat the mad titan.

actually the assumption that Shuri is one of the "dusted" might be mistaken as Lang is also there seen by Banner but at the end of the trailer we see Lang asking Rogers to let him in
Well....she does show up in the trailer as one of the missing so more than likely she has.
As for Strange, we see in his solo movie that once the Ancient One dies, her astral form disappears so one would assumer that following that logic, Strange is also gone.
As for following the comics, the MCU has shown that at times it will indeed follow storylines fairly closely but at other times they will change things to better suit the movies/audience.
Nice effort but I don't see much of any of that happening.
How do Natasha, Steve and Scott discuss Dr.Strage's plan? He was in Titan they haven't seen each other, ever...
Thanos bringing back villains? We don't even know if Surtur or Hela are dead, all we know is at the end of Ragnarok is that Surtur is destroying Asgard and nothing more. Surtur and Hela have no known link, in the MCU, to Thanos, why would they suddenly fight at his side? And Galactus? Come on dude...
Spider-Man could no wield that gauntlet, he is not a celestial or other strong enough being. Star Lord was barely able to hold one and he is half celestial at that point in the MCU. Steve Rogers is sent back in time? So they send him back to ruin the timeline, a timeline that he is supposed to basically be dead (frozen)? What and he marries Peggy Carter?
I like the bringing back villains part. Thanos taking on all the avengers is fun but imagine some of the battles you could have with Surtur, Hela, Vulture, andddd wow as I type this I’m realizing how few good villains they’ve had. Hopefully that’ll change with Spider-man’s being around eventually.

you are forgetting the main plot point from doctor strange. ancient one could not see past the time line when she was supposed to have died.
if doctor strange saw 14 million possibilities then that means he is not dead or dusted
or
MCU is going to retcon someone not being able to see the future if they are dead before that future comes to pass

Haha crazy theory that Hugh Jackman is in End Game because of a google search. So if you search "Hugh Jackman famous movies" for some reason End Game shows up on the list if you click to the right three or four times. It still there this morning but likely due to a glitch with the algorithm. But imagine the fanboy reaction if he does show up for a seen as Wolverine with Banner/Hulk! Making his MCU debute like in the comics, against the Hulk.

A perfect way to introduce the X-Men into the MCU and could be done without contradicting anything from the X-Men or MCU storylines.
Logan happens in the future so that is safe.
Can argue that Wolverine's healing ability could counteract the dusting (assuming he was one that was to be dusted)

Just re watched IW and thought of a few questions
1) How does Thanos know that with all 6 stones he can snap his fingers and erase half of all life? I understand hes one of the smartest beings in the galaxy but since nobody has ever had all 6, how would he know this?
2) If Thor knew the Stormbreaker was capable of killing Thanos - why wouldn't he have done it long ago? The entire galaxy (except Earth I guess) knew that Thanos was a blood thirsty titan/war lord that invaded planets and killed half the people. Why wouldn't Thor kill him before he could even get the stones?
3) How did Thanos know there were 2 stones on Earth ? Again I get his super intelligent but knowing which planet out of thousands the stones were on is a little pushy.

I cant remember but I imagine Thanos would destroy the mould after he had the gantlet made no? Just to insure nobody else could have it.
But I guess like Thor says, Eitri has the blueprints in his head so he could just do it again.

This is just the concept art for the film but apparently the mould is seen during the movie as well at the forge.

These things work via computer algorithm that are maleable to human input. Google isn't sitting on and freely giving out top secret insider information here, there alogorithm however it works just picked up lots of hits on "Hugh Jackman" and "Avengers: End Game" then associated the two together.
