Awesome, you're finding some sick deals on ebay. Your Ghost inspired me to search for some cheap graded stuff, picked up a really cool card for $20, I'll post when it comes in.

Just "hockey cards," sorted by auction, ending soonest, and US Only. If it's got way to go before it ends then I'll watch it and check back in to see if I think it's worth bidding on. If I'm looking for someone specific then I'll search "Philadelphia Flyers cards," "player x cards/Young Guns/auto," etc. That's how I found all the Flyers cards and the Vrana.

I'm not sure if the site lets you do this but on the Ebay app you can set a max bid on the item. That way if someone outbids you, Ebay will automatically bid higher on your behalf up to a certain price. So if you set your max bid to $20, Ebay will automatically bid for you until someone bids over $20. You might have already known that but I found it really useful since I had never bid in an ebay auction before last month.

Guy had a ton of 02-03 Young Guns up for auction that were still at the $2 starting bid. Chose Branko specifically for the Flyers factor and because I always loved his name, lol.

I was trying to find even a raw one of these but the price has skyrocketed. I got FWA Patch for about $100 at one point (don't remember when). I have the SPX rookie jersey/auto and O-Pee-Chee Premier rookie auto jersey as well at PSA with it. The OPC is not going to get a good grade but it's one of my all-time favorite cards so I wanted it slabbed.

This is pretty insane. Both of these products are typically around $500-600 USD a box anymore.

Been stockpiling packs since the price hike for a summer series on YouTube. Unfortunately at the mercy of what I can find both locally and online but I'm going for a variety. This isn't everything, just a start, and there's more on the way at this very moment. It's something I'm looking forward to starting once I have the stock I'm aiming to accumulate.

Correct me if I’m wrong? But packs have worse chances for good pulls, followed by boxes and then crates or boxes of boxes or whatever it’s called, right?

Kind of in the sense that you're not guaranteed a hit more often than not in a single pack. But when the hobby's at a point where pretty much every box is at an unreasonable price point I'd rather sample a product for the price of a pack or two or three than buy one box for $200-$300-$400.

Really the pack thing was just an idea to keep my channel afloat, I've been struggling for a while now trying to think of how to go on with the market being what it is now. For the most part there aren't any guarantees but it'll give me a chance to do something different instead of opening the same two or three things I've kept going back to for about a month now

I won't pretend this is an original idea by any means, but it's something I have to look forward to at least.
