So our good friend here @Dicky Dangles sent me this the other day out of the goodness of his heart after helping him secure a PS5.

This inspired me to buy a few packs, after talking to him about what I could get, so I preordered two tins of Upper Deck Series 2 20/21 cards. We’ll see what happens.

I hope all the good karma you’ve accrued from all the PS5 securing will actually bring Hart some luck, because I certainly haven’t.

I bought his rookie Signature Shots from 18-19 Engrained back in late January because I hadn't pulled a certified auto of his, and it's been all downhill from there, lol.

Just won my first auction on Ebay. Sniped at the last second. Don't have Ghost's YG or any graded cards so I'm pretty happy.

Can't go wrong for that price. Great snag.

So I sold off a good bit of the stuff I had and put it into bigger purchases of established legends or huge upside guys. Sending these off to PSA. Hoping at least one gets a 10.

Thank you for the package @BestPlayerAvailable ! Didn't realize the second Zamula was a French variation at first! 20210330_163518.jpg 20210330_163543.jpg 20210330_163613.jpg

Recently bought another box of Clear Cut and a box of Dave and Adam's Hit Parade Limited hockey and decided to open them today. The latter is essentially Dave and Adam's version of Buybacks as every box has one auto card bought back from a collector. One of the three cards highlighted as a possible pull was a Sidney Crosby 1/1 auto from last year's Trilogy.

I think it's gotta be. Matthews YGC, Gretzky auto (14/15 Masterpieces, I think that was what it was called), Makar FWA, and McDavid Allure Quartz auto probably round out the top 5 in no particular order. Lemieux jersey auto /12 from 13-14 Artifacts has to be up there too.

You plan on uploading the break? Crosby Auto 1/1 gotta be a hell of a reaction.

Obviously hard to comp 1/1's but one sold a few weeks ago on ebay. Surprised it's so low tbh, think that buyer got a good deal. Also gotta imagine the value will go up as Sid is one of the all time greats.

100% being uploaded, I just always share pulls here first before anywhere else. I try my best not to clickbait in my video titles but I think this legitimately may be one of the best cards I've ever pulled so I'm not sure how to name this one, ha.

I'd imagine this card has gotta be worth over $500, if not closer to $1000. I did a quick check on COMC and his lowest priced autograph period is listed at well over $200. Obviously Trilogy doesn't have as much resale value as The Cup but I'd imagine that it being a 1/1 auto of an all time great (feels dirty saying that) has to significantly boost the value, regardless of the product.

    Yeah I can't imagine it's less than $1k.

So how does it work, was that how the card was in Trilogy or was it a 1 of 1 purple base or whatever and Dave and Adam's added that auto sticker?

It's an actual auto from Trilogy. The back of the card has the "Congratulations, you've just pulled a yadda yadda" spiel. DA buys back autographed cards from collectors and resells them through the Hit Parade products. The $130 Limited edition for hockey is sold out at the moment (though I'm sure a new one will be released before too long), but the $215 Platinum edition is still available and gives a preview of what can be pulled and a list of players you might find. It's generally a little higher end than the Limited edition but obviously mine kind of smashed those odds. 2020/21 Hit Parade Hockey Platinum Edition - Series 5 - Hobby Box /100 McDavid-Gretzky-Ovechkin | DA Card World

Pretty sweet. I'm out of the box breaking game for a bit but feel like I'd much rather spend $120 on something like Clear Cut than a box of S2. Even if it's a bad player you still get some kind of cool auto.

I'm probably gonna focus a lot more on singles for the time being too. The whole reason I bought the DA product was because I didn't find a single box I was comfortable buying for the listed price online. Obviously it paid off well. I'll probably buy some more whenever they release a new series. Would much rather either go with something like this or buy cards I know I want than spend the same money on a low reward product that cost half the price three months ago.

Yeah like I wouldn't be happy spending $200 on an S2 Hobby Box to end up with an Alex Romanov Young Guns (who is even one of the better hits you can get). At least in Clear Cut the Clear Cut card/Auto is cool.

Saw this card on Instagram and I can't help but wonder how they find this century old memorabilia or verify that it's authentically game worn?

He only posted the front. Leaf always includes these old players in their checklists and you can't help but wonder... where is this mem coming from?

I decided to go “prospecting” and spent a decent chunk of change compiling these Alec Bohm rookie cards. I’ll probably get most of them graded and then decide what to do after that. I’m thinking of going with HGA. I know they’re new, but their slabs look pretty cool and seem to be creating value. 47156640-EA72-4AAC-9F0D-F1D27A7099F0.jpeg
