Auston Matthews now has more goals than Patrik Laine on the season in 15 fewer games

After all the talk about how Laine is the best goal scorer in his draft he's being outscored by a Matthews who hasn't hit 100% since his injury in 15 fewer games.

Will this finally dispel the myth that Laine is a better scorer than Matthews?

Scoring 20+ goals in a month and then going into hibernation for the rest of the season doesn't sound like a consistent scorer to me.

As much as I hate the Jets, Laine is a quality player and will bounce back.

I think this thread is unnecessary.

Polls earlier in the season showed HF thought Laine was the better scorer by a landslide.

So yes, I do think it's necessary.
