Back in late November 2017, the Los Angeles Kings signed free agent defenseman Austin Strand to an entry-level contract, a move that was far enough under the radar that virtually nobody noticed, or even blinked an eye.
    .
Strand will play in the American Hockey League this season, jumping from major junior hockey in Canada to the professional ranks. He’s big, skates well, has a big shot from the point, he can make plays amd put the puck in the net. That said, he’s a first-year pro. He’s got a lot of work to do before he can take the next step.
    .
To learn more about Strand from Kings assistant general manager Michael Futa, Reign head coach Mike Stothers, and Strand himself, check out...

Him and JAD have risen up my rankings the most, recently.

This kid was by far the best player on the ice for the rookie tournaments. I like Brickley but Strand is really good
