Polish away folks, was only worth $690,000 imo.

Keep him as 13th fwd and let him battle with Pitlick and Raffl for. Ore playing time.

I'd honestly rather let pitlik sit in the press box for a while and see what NAK has to offer. He was never given a fair shot by Hex, and REALLY never given a fair shot by Honk.
Who wouldn't prefer to see that? Well other than coaches/GMs who love their structure.

There are less talented players drafted after NAK playing on better teams. He should have had a longer more legit look by now..but Hak gonna ****ing Hak.
Well he was one of the best players on Gordon's team before he got promoted to coach the flyers yet NAK didn't really sniff the team. At this point you gotta feel glad for him no longer being waiver exempt as even in worse case he will get his chances when injuries will occur.

Pitlick is a proven NHL 4th liner. Not a great player, your basic 12th/13th forward who can be stashed in the press box instead of a prospect.
But a tad better than replacement level and low cost. Had 26 ES points in a 3rd/4th line role two years ago.

NAK is unknown.
Looked like he was breaking out in 2017-18, then belly up in the playoffs.
2018-19: 54g 16-10 26 at ES
2018 PO: 10g 0-0 0
2017-18: 72g 18-25 43 at ES
2016-17: 71g 9-9 18 at ES

Twarynski 69g 9-11 20
Bunnaman 62g 10-11 21
Vorobyev 42g 3-14 17 [58g 8-14 22]

All four are bottom six candidates that need to show they can be productive in a 4th line role.

Glad he didn't get $725,000 so we don't have to endure 20 pages of the "overpayment".

He should be the 13th forward assuming Frost or some other kid grabs that last top 9 spot. Let him get in games when injuries occur or b2b splitting games with Pitlick.

Also, in before "Fletch paid too much, should have negotiated him down to 699, 965! Overpayed by 35$, concerning trend."

:sarcasm:

Fletcher had to win (or at least not lose) a negotiation at some point

Chalk this one up as a huge win! Fletch comes in clutch when it matters.

Good for NAK.

I hope he is given the opportunity and then takes the damn thing and runs with it. Love his work ethic. Coachable.

Come on crystal ball - NHL regular... Come on.
