Good.

Also, I have to say Valarie Allman looks like a sculpture. A comment often said about the male discuss throwers but she definitely fits the bill for women. That is an athlete!
Remember Astrid Kumbernuss (shotput)? She was a statue aswell.

Christine Mboma looks like she could be a controversial figure in the future, like the Caster Semenya of the sprints. So young and with absolute garbage form and looks like she could challenge for a medal in the 200m finals behind Elaine Thompson. She could dominate the 200 (and 400 if they let her run) for the next decade.

ARD just had an interesting interview with Hajo Seppelt. Seppelt said, that he has tbe impression that a number of African countries are specifically looking for women with intersex traits. This will happen a lot more often in the future and it will be a discussion as it challenges the rules. So says Seppelt at least.

With a good start she can win the gold. Impressive top end speed

Then and there
That was really badass. Might be my favorite moment from the games so far. She just won gold at the 5000M too a little bit ago, coming back from behind and winning in a sprint by a good distance at the end.

Yeah, that was mighty impressive. How can someone be so much better than any else.

And then winning that 5000M gold without any trouble at all. If she can win another gold, that will the as great as when Tirunesh Dibaba won the 5 000 and 10 000 double at 2008 OG.

Not a bad strategy so long as the rules allow it, paying off for Namibia so far, the 200 final is the 6 favorites (minus Shericka Jackson, yikes was that qualifying run ever dumb) and the 2 intersex athletes.

I think if she figures out her start and cleans up her uncoordinated technique then she's probably breaking the world record in the 200 and 400 within the next few years. She'd crush everyone in the 400 at Tokyo if they'd have let her run. I just don't think she's quite ready to hang with Thompson in the final tomorrow, who looks like she's ready to drop a 21.4.

Different topic, but the US should really consider altering their trial system. So many of their athletes seemed to have peaked at trials and are running out of gas by the Olympics (sprints at least). Puts them at such a disadvantage that they need to be at their best just to qualify when the Jamaicans for example had the top 3 women in the 200m about a second ahead of the rest of the field at trials and in no danger of missing the Olympics.

Warholm was one of the most amazing athletes I've ever seen run an event. That was surreal.

Not bad for a decathlete :DD

The best part of Warholm is his coach. He is like a cartoon character, but it works.

Strangely enough the same could be same for the Ingebrigtsen brothers - their father (coach) is just mad - in a good way.

WHAT A RACE!!!

Race of the olympics. No way another tops that one. 2 insane races by Warholm and Benjamin as well as the brazilian who looks to be a force and would have won gold in any other olympics if not because of these two out of this world athletes
