Problem is that in soccer one mistake can have MASSIVE consequences.

What if the score was 2-1 or 1-1 when it happened? Would you feel the same way?
No but it wasn’t 2-1 or 1-1. It was 4-1. You can talk in hypotheticals all you want. Doesn’t change facts.

Great pick for the Golden Ball by FIFA. No single player had a bigger impact on this tournament than Modric compared to the backup at his postion. He is the best midfielder of the his generation, and he finally received the recognition that he so richly deserved.
