Option C. B is possible.

i'm big on track record though. Last year he was NOT, and by a lot. This year he's obviously having one of the top 15 D seasons so far 30 games in - but i'd like to see him do it over a full year and be confident he can carry it into next year before saying yes.

Nah. Need at least a second season of comparable play before I say that.
I would have said that but I looked at his numbers from the start of 17-18 to now and he leads dmen in points/60 and is tied with Josi for the lead in p1/60. With a laughable 44 cf qot (he plays with scrubs). For me he’s in the 5-15 range.

As a Sens fan, no but close, still too many inconsistencies and he can be taken advantage of by size and strength still a little too much. Somewhere around 20 seems about right presently off the top of my head.

He'll be there soon though, he clearly has the drive to be one of the best. When he first played for Canada at World Juniors his shot was Charmin soft. Now he's got a cannon. There's no question he has both the drive and natural ability to be elite. One day soon he'll be among the best.

He's been great offensively, but brutal defensively.
He needs to work on his defensive side to become a top 15D
