Awesome deal! Wish it was longer although if it was, would have been more per year. Nice day for Bregman. Gets a deal from Adidas and the Astros.

Also Astros extent Ryan Pressly to a 2 year 17.5 mil deal. Largest total and annually for a non closer .

Astros locking up their whole core essentially.

Plenty more to go. Cole is a free agent after this season. Springer the year after. Correa the year after that.

And lets see what they do with Verlander who is a free agent after this season.

If Nova looks like he'll be a good player, I might try to trade Correa and move Bregman to short.

Edit: They have Tucker waiting as well. They could let Springer walk if Tucker looks good.

Apparently it's 5/100. Good deal for both parties as it buys out 3 arbitration years and 2 UFA years.

Yeah, Houston still has a top-10 farm system with loads of good talent coming up. They'll have options. Still was nice to see Altuve and Bregman locked up.
