His point was Lehkonen is way more than offensive production. He is a complete 200 ft player with tiredless forecheck.

He is the typical 3rd line player all coaches love because they don’t fear to use him on any situation.

Now if we are only looking at points, Lehkonen’s production is a bit underwhelming. But avs fans can’t say it is otherwise for Zadorov.

So Matt Calvert. We already have that role filled.

he is not only a 30p player..... Amazing PK killer, one of the best defensive F of his age, great overall ethics but only lacks the finishing touch ( just like Hertl last year but look at him this year). I can link the Advanced stats too but you will be overly impressed...

it'S like saying Stone is a 60p player, but Stone overall game brings him at a superstar level in the league.
some players are way more than just points...

This is all sorts of wrong.

Lehkonen is nothing like Hertl and Hertl has shown a versatile scoring ability at a much younger age. He also plays C so I'm not sure why you chose that comparison.

Either Lehkonen is a 20 point player like Stone is a 60 point player, or Lehkonen is a 30 point player like Stone is a 70+ point player.

Stone's overall game brings him to a superstar level because he produces at an elite pace to begin with. He is good defensively despite being an offensive forward. Lehkonen is good defensively because he can't be an offensive forward.

Every team has their Lehkonens. He doesn't have the value you think he does.

Lehkonen is a useful player on both ends of the ice even if he doesn't have great skill. Zadorov is a replacement level player who has never played at even close to a level to justify how Avs fans view him. Pass.
