I for one am happy that we're skipping over the Ciona pick and pretending it didn't happen.
I have no clue what you’re talking about. Burke isn’t here anymore, so why on earth would we select an Alberta kid who has minimal NHL potential, but is touted as “the strongest guy on his team”.
Couldn’t be my Flames…

Another pleasing fact about this selection is that it allows us to field a full team from this year's prospects. All positions now covered.

Basically 8.7% of roster spots in professional hockey are goalies. 19 goalies represents about 8.5% of the draft. Seems about right.

Don't look now, but we're slowly turning "redder" than usual...with these 2 Russian goalies and a couple Russain D from the past 2 drafts alone, and Zavgorwhatshisname, we can no longer say we don't draft Russian.

Calgary Flames goalie factory???

No, no, no. Calgary goalie pipeline.

Expect some type of politics or external factor to block the pipeline from getting anywhere.

Seriously though, if we could get Trotz + get Korn to follow him... that pipeline of excess goalie talent needing an opportunity would print assets for us like it did for Washington.

3 games, 3 wins, 1.65GAA, .940 SV%
Not a bad start in NCAA, although the other goalie in the team has crazy good numbers in 3 games (0.65 GAA, .973 SV%) so I don't know how much its because of the team.

Probably all of it if both goalies have those type of numbers

Interesting because the "other" goalie is former BCHL goalie Logan Terness. Thought a team might have taken a late round flier on him the past couple drafts.

I just had to look, both have played 10 games and now have as identical numbers as you can get.
