I actually think it's a real smart move by the Rangers... everyone knows DoPS has no clue regardless of last night. The optics of fining the Rangers would look extremely terrible considering Wilsons $5000 fine. I think they just want it all to disappear and not become a major news story.

The fine only of Wilson is an f-ing disgrace. Not even sitting him a game for punching defenseless player and then body slamming a player by pulling his hair. It's beyond comprehension the NHL thinks a 5k fine is sufficient.

Reaves is like the only guy who put him in place, thank goodness for that. The DOPS is supposed to be the reason why fighting and guys like Reaves are mostly gone. Players don't police the liberties other teams take when guys get suspended or get real fines. You do this nonsense with Wilson and teams are going to goon up just in case. Wilson's next game with NYR is going to be a good one, his teammates better be ready to drop the gloves to protect their precious Tommy.
