Reminds me so much of Pavel Bure with that speed and control at a break neck pace.

Excellent comparison, there are a lot of similarities there. As far as speed, control at high speed, and pure explosiveness, he's the best I've seen since Bure in his prime at that aspect of the game.

Brings my piss to a boil that the Penguins and Blackhawks each have three Cups over the last decade and the Bruins managed just one in their window.

That's the thing about windows though, there aren't guaranteed championships. When a team in their window makes two cups and wins one of them. that's an extremely successful period in a franchise's history. I do feel the Bruins should have done better in '09, '10, '12 and '14, but for every Bruins there are plenty of other teams (San Jose, St. Louis, Washington..) that never win in their time.

Is there anyway to watch TSN highlights if you live in the States? The videos on their website have been geo blocked for a couple years now except the ads that play before the video of course.
I'm with you. It's truly so ridiculous. I can't tell you how many times I've watched their crappy adverts only to be subjected "this video cannot be played in your region". At least if you can't negotiate the rights to broadcast in US, then have the decency to block the adverts up front and say your IP isn't within proper region right at the outset.

Video hightlights always blocked for me -- sometimes video's of interviews or other things are hit or miss. Hence the frustration over having to endure their ads. Sometimes you get rewarded sometimes not.

Vegas still has only 11 Forwards on their active roster. How long can they run with 11? There first game is tomorrow. They also have 9 healthy defenseman and 3 goalies. Seems like they must be looking to make a deal.

goal #2 was ridiculous. Like beer league where one guy is playing in a division that is below his caliber.

He makes the two Calgary D look like they are moving in slow motion.

That goal was 90's hockey video game level stuff, shouldn't be possible in real life NHL hockey.

Check out Sportsnet’s website. They have all the highlights just like TSN but it’s not blocked.

Subban will be the number 2 in Vegas. Im still irritated that Boston just gave up on him like that, and lost him for NOTHING. Poor management. I hope this bites them in the ass

I'm not really sure what else they could do. He has no place on the NHL roster and he needed to go through waivers to get sent down. I'm sure they tried to trade him but it didn't happen. They were left without much choice really.

Cogliano-Rakell-Perry get in on their 4th goal of the night together to pull ahead of the Coyotes. Ducks in a bit of a similar situation to the Bruins with both Kesler and Getzlaf out.

McDavid is incredible, but what makes him different from someone like Gretzky is that so much of what makes him dangerous is his speed. Like Pavel Bure, once he starts to get banged up and slow down as he ages he will probably see his production take a hit. I mean we're talking years down the line but I think it's inevitable.

Gretzky did what he did by thinking the game light years beyond any other player. he was able to produce well past his prime because he was so cerebral and didn't rely on supernatural skating ability that would fade with time.
