He's not that good, and has 4 years at 5M. I love that teams are being brutal and denying Tampa a chance to just get rid of a player for next to nothing. Do what toronto did and give up a 1st, or a young asset. You'll get someone to bite then. Otherwise, good luck!

So many teams are tight to the cap that even giving up a 1st will make it tough to move Johnson given that he has 4 years left. The Leafs gave up a first just to move a contract with one year left.

That would be interesting.

(Insert blank cell under Winnipeg and slide things to the right)

The other is an arena that has four dressing rooms since there would be multiple games per day.

With those two things in mind, one frontrunner is likely Buffalo.

The Buffalo Marriott Harborcenter is attached to KeyBank Center and right in the heart of the Canalside district.

There are four dressing rooms at the arena and another nine in the connected Harborcenter, which has two NHL-sized rinks.

Frankly, depending what the rules are in New York at the time, it’s exactly what the league would be looking for.

So we're going to have like 18 2nd-5th round penguin picks soon?

Well, they do have 3 7th rounders next year.

We can stock up on 7th rounders and go with the Ryan Hardy strategy of taking college kids that the scouts think might turn into good UDFAs in a few years.

What are the chances of even having a season this year? Now they’re talking February, and the virus situation is worse than earlier in the year when they canceled the season? I’m growing increasingly skeptical that we’ll have a season.
