Hawks/Leafs is insane.

6-6 with 3 goals scored in the last minute and a half

Edit.. if you count the OT goal, 4 goals in less than 2 minutes

That Chicago-Toronta game was absolutely insane. I encourage everyone to watch the last 5 mins + OT.

Did anyone catch the Flames v Nucks game last night? That Flames offense looks potent but the goaltending and D will thankful be their downfall this year. They are getting close to playoff team though.

Also of note, the Flyers second goal last night is a MUST SEE. Hilarious.

Our D could be better, but it's far from the issue. Goaltending does need to improve ASAP though.

So that Toronto experiment seems to be working out....

Fun times in Edmonton as McDavid's one man show continues. Wonder how long of a leash Chiarelli and McLellan have until they're both gone.

Blackhawks pulled an Erat last night. Got a late PP which would've run the clock out had they just kept it in their zone. They didn't, the Wild scored with 20 seconds left, killed off the rest of the PP and won in OT.

And none of the five teams that the Leafs have faced so far made the playoffs last season. Tomorrow's game against the Caps will be their first true test of the season.

There has to be more going on there than money.

I think it's absolutely about money. Toronto simply cannot give him big money for lo g term. They need him to either sign a short deal (2yrs) or sign for well below market. Otherwise they wont have the money to pay Matthews and Marner much less the rest of the team. Its obvious they hope for people to be willing to take less to stay on a loaded team. But they are screwed. And i just hope Nylander doesnt land in the Central

I hope Nylander lands on the Flames and we find a way to get rid of Neal lol.

I really don't think Toronto has as much cap trouble as being portrayed here. They have a very deep prospect pool of guys on entre level deals that can fill in the gaps.

The question I think is are they willing to give Nylander $7-8 or would they rather move that salary to their back end where they are weakest.
