Who has the tie breaker between Mon/CLB?
Not too useful to use the season's series at this point, since ROW is the next tie breaker, but in case both points and ROWs are tied between two teams:
MTL = CBJ. MTL actually has 4 points to CBJ's 2, but the earlier win in Columbus gets tossed out, so it's 2-2.
MTL > CAR. Tossing out the early loss, it's 3-2.
CBJ = CAR. It's 4-4.
So, a lot of situations where it's still tied. The tie-breaker after that is goal differential. With CAR at +15, CBJ at +18, and MTL at +9, it's too close to call, especially since if there's a tie, it means MTL will have won games.
If all three teams are tied in PTS/ROW, you compute point percentage for all 3 teams in games played in their "group of three", tossing out the same extra home games as above. MTL has 5/8, CAR has 6/12, CBJ has 6/12. So MTL wins, and CBJ/CAR goes to goal differential.
