So, Babcock, you didn't like, and, didn't want Josh Leivo as a regular NHL player.

Who knew he could even be effective in the shootout? His shootout goal gave the Canucks a 3-2 victory over the Dallas Stars.

Another case of a player labeled useless in Toronto, becomes useful elsewhere.

Something tells me though that Leivo wouldn't have been very useful to the Leafs in the shootout so far this season! In fairness, that applies to every other NHLer as well.

That's bigger than the gap between Calgary and the 20th place team.

I don't want to sound defeatist, but I'm not going to be all that upset if we don't get past that ridiculousness. Presidents trophy winners rarely win the cup, but they also weren't as good as Tampa. They're something else.
