McDavid has a shot at being the greatest player of all time, though it will come down to health, and playoff performance

Sid got injured and probably didn't have enough offensive creativity to be at that level. He could have been better than Orr and Lemiux and ended up the 3rd best all time but injuries slowed him down to much.

McDavid if he does this again 2-3 more time moves past Lemieux and Orr for me and is the 3rd best player all time behind 99 an 9. If he adds 4-5 more ross/hart/Lindsay's and a couple of Smythes than I'd rank him the GOAT.

I have high hopes that Connor Bedard is the next one, so am thinking he can end McDavid reign at the top around 2024-2026 but by then 97 should have 5-7 ross/hart/Lindsay's which is just incredible
