Canucks won the season series against the Blues without Marky. We got our asses handed to us by the Stars.
Blues are overrated they were playing like shit before the pause and have looked terrible in the last 3 games.

Gimmick or not, this series had a playoff feel and we won the so-called gimmick 3-1 against a team that only sucked in the regular season because of historically bad goaltending. They had much better stats than the Oilers or Hawks a team you lost to in the as you put it gimmick.
If your team had won, I'll go out on a limb and say you would be speaking differently.

No, actually I wouldn't. It is legitimately garbage that Nashville, Pittsburgh and Edmonton are out. Watered down 1st round because of it. If this becomes a regular thing because Gary Bettman and the Owners see dollar signs, I'm out.

Actually, regardless of what you think is trolling or not, the board has rules and people could interpret your posts as trolling (whether or not that is your intent). This is not the mains, it's a team "Around the League" thread that is made for for the fans of this team to discuss what's going on around the league. And they're allowed to discuss these things without fans of other teams taking exception and trying to "correct" them on it.

Huh, I dunno, maybe because 5 game series were done away with because they are simply too prone to randomness to constitute consistent results? Not using a 7 game series is pretty much admitting they didn't give a shit. The league actually wanted to do a 3 game series until the players told them to f*** off. There was never any guarantee that Nashville was gonna make it under a normal season. they were 8th(ibelieve) with teams on the outside close to them. Pitts didn't show up. It hurts, but it happens.
