It’s disappointing for sure but his performance up to this point doesn’t mean a whole lot. He’s on a top contender, everything is about the playoffs.I know Tampa will say he’s bringing more, and he does buuuuuuuut, Coleman has 1 point in 9 games.
Everyone's got a higher chance of dropping than moving up. Same reason you've got way more of a chance of losing than winning the Mega Millions. It is what it is. Having two top 15 picks will go a huge way as long as we aren't taking the Tedenbys, Josefsons, McLeods of the world.
Arthur Staple was just on NHL Network and did not have anything good to say about the Barzal situation involving his next contract as well as his affinity (or lack thereof) for the Trotz’ system
Boy oh boy is Lou in some trouble. And while I hate the Islanders I do feel somewhat bad for the fans
I dislike the Isles too, the Tavares situation really pissed me off and I did feel bad for their fans after he dragged them along and begged not to be traded. This situation isn't nearly as bad, since Barzal is an RFA, and they can surely get a hefty return for him.Boy oh boy is Lou in some trouble. baby come backI know Tampa will say he’s bringing more, and he does buuuuuuuut, Coleman has 1 point in 9 games.
What’s the issue with Barzel? I don’t understand what the supposed problem is.I dislike the Isles too, the Tavares situation really pissed me off and I did feel bad for their fans after he dragged them along and begged not to be traded. He just sounds like he doesn't like playing in the tight Trotz system and wants out. He's an RFA so he doesn't have much of a choice other than demanding a trade. What’s the issue with Barzel? I don’t understand what the supposed problem is.
Looks like Columbus is the first team to start playing in empty arenas (I think the Sharks just moved/canceled their games outright).

I’ve never heard of a young RFA star holding out for anything other than more money. I won’t believe any rumor like this until it becomes public while he’s actually holding out. It just doesn’t happen. He just sounds like he doesn't like playing in the tight Trotz system and wants out. He's an RFA so he doesn't have much of a choice other than demanding a trade.
We should be next, I'm not going tomorrow either way.
Well it could be worse, Nas could scratch Zajac and make him play his 1000th on the road the way Ftorek did with Dano.
Welp now that the NBA's on total hiatus the NHL's on the clock whether anyone tests positive or not.
