The same thing happened the last time @Del Preston made a new OOT thread.

Watching Tampa is just beautiful. It's embarassing that Edmonton is even playing in the same league. Really shows where the level of skill and pace of the game is going at in the epitome of the sport. Passing and making plays in tight spaces with unprecedented speed. Wow.

Even putting that aside, the Lightning draft and develop at a level Edmonton could never hope to reach.

Kevin Quinn wondering if he's actually calling an Oilers game with how badly the Jets are playing tonight.

If Laine didn't have his shot he would have followed the same underwhelming path of JP. He has very underwhelming 1 on 1 skills, makes a ton of giveaways in bad spots like the pp, and he isn't very fast.

Every single game went the wrong way. If this b2b doesn't go well for Edmonton, the picture will start looking terrible again.

Don't know how Cogliano falling on his own is a penalty but its nice to see the refs are shit league wide.

Every WC hunt team won or winning so far today. Who saw that coming? This is going to get even more pronounced after the allstar break.

Yep. I expect to see a couple of these teams separate from the pack before long. My bet is on Anaheim and Minnesota being the two wildcard teams with Dallas and Colorado being the other contenders. I wouldn't count St. Louis out either especially when Pietrangelo coming back, too much talent for them to be down for too long.

meh depends completely on if this Binnington guy is the real deal because if he falters at all and they have to go back to Allen they are whooped the same way we would be if we have to go back to Talbot.
