At this point, even though it sucks for the team, it'll be at least good for the new GM to have a nice pick in the 2019 draft.

Learn from Chia's mistakes buddy and don't squander the gift.

Good, the sooner we are eliminated the better chance of we wont make a panic trade. Sell, sell, sell....Everyone other than McDavid/Drai/Nuge/Klef can GTFO.

Kucherov cherrypicking like crazy to try and win the Art Ross. I think he's worse than Gaudreau in this regard.

Tampa putting him out there on a 5-on-3 with less than 45 seconds up 4-2 to get his 3rd point of the night.

Really want to see McDavid fly by that ****ing rat.

McDavid has not gone on a tear this season yet...which is weird. And yet hes 4 points back of the lead with a game in hand.

Leafs pulling their goalie when they have over 50 shots on net. Priceless.

If the leafs had 56 shots on the Oilers they would have at least 8 goals.

Chicago winning has the Oilers looking at their tail lights now.

    Edmonton (53)
    LA (51)
    Anaheim (51)

The new look bottom 3 of the West.

LA looking better, will probably pass the Oilers soon. Battle between Anaheim and Edmonton for last in the west. Depends on how the Ducks respond to having the GM behind the bench I guess.

By the end of the week we should be firmly planted at the bottom of this list.

Meet the old enforcer keeping NHLers from hitting rock bottom - Sportsnet

Real interesting read. I've know most of this already as McGrattan has talked about it before, but it's a nice little reminder about how something so simple can make a big difference.

Kind of sad that currently only one team has a guy like him. LA had Bryant Myhers, but he didn't get renewed in the turnover of management.

I don't have a lot of good to say about him. I just don't know that he's actually a worse option than Murray himself.

The schedule makes it look that way. Van plays LA and Anaheim this week so someone is gaining more ground.

If Edmonton didn't beat Minny, this would easily have become an Anaheim-level losing streak. All you can do us laugh at this point.

Thank God preseason baseball is right around the corner.

Looks that way. At least we have Craig's List to read again.

Talbstrom lets in the first shot.

Actually it wasn't him but it does not matter.

    WTH happened to Markstrom?

Sj is insane. I think Labanc is their 8th leading scorer. He would be 2rd or something on St Louis?

Markstrom is injured and backing up tonight. 19-year-old Mikey DiPietro is in net.

Did he get hurt in warmups or practise? He seemed okay at the end of their game against Calgary the other night.

It's easy to play a possession game like Sj and Calgary when everybody knows what they are doing.

You always see these 2 teams Dmen pinching way in and a forward going to cover their spot RIGHT AWAY.

    They just play keep away.

I don't know what is so hard about that. lol.
