Matthews might've injured his other shoulder as well

Would have been interesting if he did injure his other shoulder during this. Could have legitimately happened as you tend to put extra load on your stronger side to compensate for the injured side. Could have also triggered a heart attack for somebody. Do the Leafs not think these things through?

They are last year's Knights, so far anyways. The Oilers will be in a dog fight to hover near a top 3 divisional spot. The Central is too strong for them to be a wild card team in my opinion. I caught part of the Canucks game, not sure if Halloween had something to do with it but I thought there were a lot of empty seats in their arena last night.

Just came across the NHLPA player poll from last year and one thing struck me as odd.

When asked which assistant would be a good head coach 4th on the list was Steve Ott. Quite high praise for a guy that just started coaching a year ago.
