Everytime Point scores I die a little inside knowing we could have had him.

I know it's revisionism and that it doesn't matter. Don't @ me.

Of all the potential Seattle names, Seattle Kraken & Seattle Sockeyes are my favorites.

I'd go with Sockeyes, as it fits locally, plus you could design a really awesome logo given it's already an angry, mean-looking fish to beginwith.

I like Kraken better.

I mean just the way that draft went in general was horrible. We in all probability took an entire drafts worth of players who won't ever hit a full seasons worth of games played EVER at the NHL level. Q is literally the only change at it.

To be fair, while the Devils most certainly made poor choices, if you look around the league, very few players from that draft are doing well. There's still time, but it looks like quite a poor draft overall. Buffalo had 5 picks in the 2nd and 3rd round and none of them have played a game for the Sabres yet (and Brendan Lemieux, who refused to sign there, doesn't look like much).

The vast majority of the draft does indeed look to suck, you're right about that. Having said that, the selections still blew my mind considering the types of players we chose and the direction the league went and is still going.

Tim Murray being one of the worst evaluators of talent in hockey history has a lot to do with that.

Don Cherry's head just exploded.

"Good old Ontaria boys don't need this kind of stuff. Just put your head down and skate to the bench after scoring! Gordie Howe wouldn't do this!"

Ray Ferraro taking no prisoners on this radio show asking when they should start expecting more from William Nylander.

****ing hilarious, I love it.

That contract is bat**** insane.

Back in my day a fetus had to prove he could play at a high level in the NHL before being awarded perennial all-star money. Two low-20 goal seasons doesn't cut it for me.

In other news, get off my lawn.

Because back to back 60 point seasons in his first two full seasons don’t show that he’s a high level player?

You talk about misleading people with statistics all the time and what are you doing there by omitting his assists?

Also it’s only been a couple games
