Kevin Allen wrote this when he was drunk. I guess if everyone didnt get better, we would see it as an ok offseason. But when you already needed a top 6 forward and you lose another 2, its hard to be excited. Its true lose 100 points, gain 50 but its still a net loss.

I'm not sure why everyone is hot to trot for Setoguchi. He's been crap for awhile now. He floats and he is useless without a great playmaker to feed him the puck. Doesn't play a great two way game and was reportedly out of shape in Winnipeg.

Just give that spot to a kid. Or go trade some scraps to get a kid to put in that spot. Don talked a big game about getting hungry young players on the roster and that really only manifested itself in the form of Gagner.
