Loved DS9. He was an interesting character though not one of my favourites. Was cool watching him develop as a character as the show went along.

RIP

I think Deep Space 9 is the best Star Trek series and really enjoyed him as Nog, great character and he'll live on through him.

Had the best character arc of any character in any ST series ever. f***ing shame this man, f***ing shame. From what I understand he was a stellar dude. Awesome man, school soccer coach, amazing and interactive with the fans at cons and genuinely seemed like he wanted to be there, great actor.

On my phone so I can link stuff

He had a kidney transplant a few years ago and his health had been up and down

Nog was a great comic relief role on the show

He was born with only 1 kidney, and ended up having a number of transplants throughout the years. Being born with only 1 kidney was one of the reasons why he was so short.

The Ferengis went from being sort of B-Level cartoony villains of the week in TNG to an interesting and respected species in the Star Trek canon. Nog is a big reason why. RIP.

Loved DS9 and as said his story arc was good as was the Ferengi's on show

He was also in that Tales from the Crypt episode with John Glover as mortician

The whole arc in the last season of him being wounded in combat, losing his leg, and dealing with the aftermath was absolutely stellar.

His acting in "Heart of Stone", where he petitions Sisko to join Starfleet, was some really great work as well.

DS9 had no shortage of great characters.

I watched Siege of AR 558 and It's Only a Paper Moon last week in tribute. Loved Nog, and Aron Eisenberg was the first Star Trek celebrity I ever talked to as a convention.

He also pulled off the comedy stuff really well too. That episode where he traded Sisko's desk to get Chief O'Brien a part he needed through a long string of like 7 or 8 trades was so fun.
