WTF? I checked 3 times to make sure he wasn't

Go to the first page. Scroll to the 2nd post showing colors. Pick 53.

Unless you were picking 'that piece of **** Kevin Hatcher who Mario forced Craig Patrick to acquire in exchange for Sergei Zubov'. :sarcasm:

Team Doblett of Fire rounds out their top 6 defense with right shot Dman Pavel Kubina. A big focus for my defense was to make sure I had 3 left shot and 3 right shot so they could play in all situations. Some D can play the offside, but with the way the game is heavily scouted and coached today, it's advantageous to have an even mix of LH and RH.

Pavel Kubina played 970 games and scored 110 goals and 386 points. Interesting stat that shows his value. Of his 110 goals, 28 were game winners. He's a big guy that can skate and shoot the puck and will be a really good partner for current Lightning dman Victor Hedman.

Team Doblett of Fire is proud to select C/LW Matt Duchene to play next to Matthews and Kucherov as part of Shady's young stars line. Matt primarily plays center in the NHL, but has played wing for the Avs and internationally for team Canada. A veteran of 706 games, Duchene has acored 229 goals and 537 career points. He can play in all situations including PP and PK. His speed, skill, and responsible play will be a welcome addition to the starting lineup.

Squaw Valley is pleased to round out their 4th line with an excellent role player in,

LW Dave Reid

An excellent penalty killer and defensive forward who had good size and a great wrist shot,

A consummate professional and team player, Dave will bring a strong work ethic to the 4th line.

KINKY KIRKS can’t believe this guy fell into their laps, but they can’t get the card up fast enough to select Vincent Damphousse.

Smooth and crafty as hell, Damphousse was an offensive dynamo that put up 1205 points, but played a complete two way game. He was the kind of player you could count on to not only help create big goals, but that you could also put out there to kill a penalty in game 7 OT, or win an important final face off late in the game when you are holding the lead.

Getting a great, versatile player like Damphousse to put on our taxi squad is a huge stroke of luck. In case of an injury, he can play as our top pivot in a scoring role, or center a checking line to shut down opponents top lines.

Up next, Sean Burke! Nothing overly special about Burke, I just had him a lot when playing early 2000s NHL games. Might as well add him here! He does have 324 wins, which is top 30 all time.

The Gentlemen Bastards are pleased to select 2 time Stanley Cup champion, RW Phil Kessel

kess-e1527344915918.jpg

One of the current generation's most reliable scorers and durable players, Phil has battled cancer, the Toronto Media, and everything else thrown at him. Once thought to be one of "those guys you can't win with", Phil was traded to Pittsburgh and immediately collected two Stanley Cups, cementing Toronto as a place that "you can't win a Cup at".

Phil's career low in points for a season, after fully recovering from cancer, is 55. His career low in goals, again after fully recovering from cancer, is 21. Sneaky quick and a shot that's even more sneaky, he'll be the triggerman on my 4th line.

0.36 G/G
0.46 A/G
0.82 P/G

21st in RW point shares, between Shane Doan and Alex Kovalev

The Gentlemen Bastard welcome, RW Blake Wheeler

GettyImages-649780026.jpg

Big bodied (6'5", 230lbs) playmaking winger who has tremendous wheels, Blake controls the puck effectively in the corners and possesses a good scoring touch. He is at his best when driving through traffic areas. Always on the peripherals of Selke talks, Wheelers has no problem back checking and going into corners and the front of the net and all the other little dirty chores.

Blake will rotate nicely with Kessel on the 4th line to give it different looks for different games and can seamlessly fill in for Glenn Anderson's role on the 3rd line to save some abuse on Glenn's body.

0.28 G/G
0.53 A/G
0.81 P/G

31st in point share among RWs, above drafted players like Palffy, Satan, Bondra, Heatley.

Up next is Daniel Briere! One of the more underrated players of his time, with only 698 points, but he was known for stepping up in the playoffs, where he had 116 points in 124 games. He'll fit in nicely on the taxi squad.

KINKY KIRKS select G Andy Moog.

Many fans don’t know that Moog shared the net with Fuhr through most of the Oilers dynasty run, and it was mostly a 1 and 1a situation.

While Fuhr became the main man during their cup playoff runs, Moog was an impressive 7-0 coming off the bench in those playoff years.

Because he was an ace at coming in cold and winning big playoff games, he’s the ideal backup for the KIRKS.

Squaw Valley Selects:

RW/C Dave Christian

Christian was a key member of the 1980 US Olympic Team where he played defense. In the NHL he scored over 300 goals and nearly 800 points as a forward.

The Fremen select a guy for their taxi squad, that might not ever suit up for a game. But in case things get rough or dirty, we are gonna have one the best tough guys, that could also play. If our coach decides we need a guy like that, he will be ready, and that option will be there.

LW--Bob Probert

Everyone knows the big guy can throw down. But he could also play. Had a career high 29 goals one season. Had 6 seasons with double digit in goals. A career of 163 goals. Not bad for a guy who is known for his fists. Career 14% shooting percentage. The guy was given a wide berth haha. Don't mess with Big Bob, or his teammates.
