The Yotes have weathered a slew of injuries with many guys still out long after Schmaltz got injured and the teams play improved. ... My point stands.

Teams are theoretically supposed to improve as the year goes on. And, of course, we can't forget that if Schmaltz were to have not gotten injured, you are making an assumption that with Schmaltz in the lineup, the team would not be better than their record.

Coyotes are 22-14-6 since January and 16-11-4 since February. Your argument is that the Yotes were better without Schmaltz, but the reality is the team started to get solid players back from injury over time. This while other players missed time. Chychrun, Demers, Grabner, and Dvorak all came back in the second half of the season. But, gaining additional talent back on to a roster has nothing to do with a record improving :sarcasm:
