Advice: Are you supposed to wear underwear under your jock?

This is going to sound dumb but I'll ask

I recently bought a new jock/cup Bauer compression fit pants.

I do not wear underwear when I use it. But the cup really rubs against my inner leg and leaves a nasty bruise in that area. Is this something you just have to deal with?

No you're not supposed to. But the cup should be secured and locked place so that it doesn't chaffe or rub.

I don't use those pants with integrated jock/cup though. I wear standard jock shorts over compression shorts underneath it.

Ive always worn very tight fitting track pants and the jock shorts. If it rubs fix it or get rid of it

I've always worn underwear. Honestly, do what makes you feel good. If it's commando, then go commando. If not, then whatever.

GTA
Turn the cup upside down and stuff your junk in. Much easier.
