Any real good NAHL prospects for either the 2005 or 2006 NHL drafts? By good prospects I mean first or second rounders.

    I don't think so.

I think Ben Bishop is the only NAHL guy Central Scouting has listed as likely to go in the first 3-4 rounds this year.

The highest ranked NAHL position player is the 192nd ranked NA player. Bishop is the 7th ranked NA goalie. I don't know if anyone from the NAHL gets taken on the first day of the draft but I love Bishop who's 6'5" (or 6'6") and 205...best GAA in the NAHL and 4th best Save % (.920 as opposed to the top Save% of .924). If I'm a team that isn't hell bent on spending a first rounder or high second on one of the top 4 goalie prospects, but still wants to get a good goalie prospect, then I'd look to take a flyer on Bishop later on and would consider myself lucky to have gotten him.
