Are the canes better on the road?

I am watching the Pens game last night and in my eyes the canes look better on the road than at home which is the opposite of how it should be.
So I looked at some looked up some basic stats and this is what I came up with before going to deep down the rabbit whole.

Canes are 6-7-3 at home 7-8-2 on the road
They have scored 37 (2.31 gpg) goals at home and given up 49 (3.06 gpg).
On the road their numbers are better 42 (2.47 gpg) goals for and 50 (2.94 gpg) goals against.

So are my eyes playing tricks on me.
Fancy stat guys feel free to blow large holes in this because this is an eye test thing with me and I am wondering if it is just me being crazy.

My eyes must be playing tricks on me, since according to those stats you brought up, the difference between their play on the road and their play at home is negligible. They are decidedly average.
