Neither team is necessarily done. But I think Vegas has a better chance than the Islanders.

The Knights issues are more fixable than the Islanders issues, or have a greater chance of being fixed.

Nonsense....Vegas can still come back quite easily and win this....however I do think the Islanders are done simply because they are facing the best team in hockey in Tampa Bay......

I don't think either are done.

But what you said is correct regarding the Islanders facing the best team in hockey.

Being down 2-1 to the Lightning is the position they were supposed to be in. So they have the bigger uphill climb in trying to come back.

Islanders definitely need to win Saturday, or else. But if they win it is 2-2. So no, no one is done.

Vegas was two minutes away from a 2-1 series lead after blowing a game where they outshot their opponents by basically a 2-1 margin. How on earth could anyone think they are done? I would still consider them the overwhelming favourites to win this series. Win Sunday night and they regain home ice advantage. They were an incredibly snake bit team tonight against what seems to be the worst team in the 21st century to make the playoffs. Their mistake was taking the foot off the pedal in the 3rd period. Just keep going. Game 1 is a perfect example of what happens when they stick to their game.

Perhaps Vegas can beat Price with an extra 4-6 minutes of PP time. With Ducharme out, I wonder if Bettman will require MTL to play the farm if multiple Habs players test positive. I'm sure Vegas still has a chance.
