Games are way harder now for a goalie what it were in the 60's.

Not that i'm diminishing Hall's achievements.

Yes the lighter equipment, face masks, diminished talent pool and first class air plane travel have made it so much more difficult for players.

even the equipment notwithstanding, marty fly to games on private jets. glenn hall flew coach and people were allowed to smoke on airplanes.

kiprusoff prepared for games by lying on a table and having his personal physical therapist massage his muscles. glenn hall barfed into a bucket.

i guess hall would have had the worst travel of any team in the league though, with chicago being so much farther away than the rest of the O6. maybe that why a team that at one time had the best goalie, defenseman, playmaker, and shooter in the league didn't win any cups?
