At the risk of being called a tourist, I prefer Uno's (specifically Due's, something in the oven there just makes it borderline perfect).

Lou Malnati's is just meh to me for reasons that I can't explain.

But to really make the Chicagoans here mad, my favorite pizza bar none is Papa Del's in Champaign. Deep dish and thin. So good that you'll mostly forgive the horrible service.

I love me Beggars when it comes to Chicago pizza (Kedzie location)

In greater area I used to enjoy eating Ron and Pat's Pizza in Antioch

I dont care for Uno's or Malnati's to be honest

FINALLY got my road bike fixed up after 4 weeks of backlog. I’ve taken it out twice since Thursday up and down the Lakefront trail and two things...

1) people who don’t ride/walk far over on the right side, especially when they’re going slow, deserve a spinning heel kick to the back of their leg. Get over!

2) I’ve been taking the trail south, because there’s less people, and it’s some of the more beautiful beachfront I’ve seen in the city. I went for a 20 mile ride last night and it’s like a totally different Chicago. It’s so peaceful, the air even smells better, lots of people out with their families. It’s great. If you live near the city and have a bike I definitely recommend it.

In the last hour two major shootings including one in which a child was shot

First shooting

2nd shooting

As well as person shot at two other locations

31/Prarie
Lawndale/Hirsch (Person pronounced dead at hospital)

11 people shot in one hour (Make that 12 with hospital dropoff at Trinity believed to be linked to shooting scene of 5)

Sad and violent end to a sad and violent summer

Sad but when police escorted ambulance with them shutting down traffic in spots ahead of it that showed it was probably worst case for her

Also it sounds like one of the people from 2nd shooting scene has also now died

Just had an attorney go full Karen (except not racist) via emails. In the span of 20 minutes, he sent 7 emails variously blaming us (the title company), the closer who was five feet from him while he was sending said emails, and the lender for a delay in disbursing all the while asking to speak to a manager if it was our fault without every being able to specify a) what the problem was, and b) which department he thought was having issues with if it was a problem on our end.

Meanwhile, in reality, sometimes there are just delays in disbursing as the closer is working on funding obligations. It happens. It's not our fault that you seemingly only allocated an hour for a lender deal, buddy.

Just gonna vent. Finding a Dr. that is willing to really work and develop a plan to get you well is a challenge. I am into my 50's and still....not a gastro Dr. worth a f*** to help me with my issues I have had a lifetime. I guess I will just suffer to my grave as I am done working to be better on my side but the care side just is transactional by nature which is what our healthcare is. Just exhausted going to to different Drs, cities, etc. to try and find out what the issue is to no avail.

There....got it out and I am done.

Bought a $180 pair of shoes for my wedding at Jos A Bank a few days ago. Just now noticed that the bottom of the shoe has clearly been walked in and there’s a minor amount of wear on them.

I’m well within my right to request new shoes from them, yeah?
