I'm hard on divers but amazingly enough I didn't think it was as bad as other dives. He was getting a stick shoved into his back point first if you watch the replay.

Normally I get mad at divers, but I have to give him credit, he gave it his all on that one, lol. I think that may be too much for a Mighty Ducks movie, lol.

it was a dive, but i don't think he was trying to sell the call, as much as trying to prevent getting a stick right into his ribs. whats he supposed to do? man up and break some ribs? plus there are plenty of goalies who have far worse "dives" they aren't used to getting hit, and don't know how to take it really.

That's why you have TSN in HD. Just watched the replay and confirm it he got poked in his upper back right side, that's why he had to jump. I don't know if it was in the protected area.
